Jeanne is a civil litigation associate in the firm’s Maritime Practice Group. Her practice focuses on all areas of admiralty and maritime-related disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Jeanne practiced at a Norfolk-based boutique maritime litigation law firm, where she gained considerable experience with Jones Act and LHWCA defense, marine terminal liability defense, contract disputes, and marine insurance defense matters. Thereafter, she joined a national AmLaw 100 firm, where she handled litigation on behalf of clients in a wide variety of industries – from local small businesses to Fortune 500 transportation and aerospace companies. Her practice encompassed a broad range of contract, business tort, class action, and antitrust issues. Jeanne has particular experience representing clients in complex civil litigation and transportation-related disputes, in both state and federal courts.
Jeanne is active in the maritime community and a member of a number of maritime organizations. She is currently serving as Treasurer of the Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Norfolk.
During law school, Jeanne served on the Moot Court Executive Board, and her team won the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition and received the Best Petitioner’s Brief Award.
