Forrest is an associate in the Transportation, Products Liability, and Maritime Sections. His practice focuses on railroad defense and the representation of heavy machine manufacturers in products liability cases.

 Prior to joining the firm, Forrest served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Leslie L. Lilley and The Honorable James C. Lewis during their respective terms as Chief Judge of Virginia’s Second Judicial Circuit.

  • Argued opposition to demurrer in Virginia circuit court hearing. 

  • Drafted dispositive motion that resulted in dismissal of $185,000 civil fraud claims against marine brokerage firm.

  • Received defense verdict in Virginia general district court resulting in dismissal of negligence claim.
