Dani Williams is an associate in the Labor and Employment section. Prior to joining the firm, Dani practiced a wide variety of civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She also worked as a Staff Attorney with the judges at the Chesapeake Circuit Court, specializing in civil cases with an emphasis on motions practice and legal writing. During her time in law school at Regent University, Dani was awarded the highest merit scholarship offered by the School of Law and graduated magna cum laude.  

When she’s not practicing law, Dani enjoys snowboarding, bike riding, roller skating, hiking, live music, and boating.

  • Obtained a post-trial ruling to strike a several hundred thousand dollar jury verdict against a client in a business conspiracy case, and briefed opposing party’s petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of Virginia, which was denied.
  • Obtained pretrial dismissal of an injunction petition filed by a locality against a non-profit organization in a case involving a referendum in opposition to a rezoning ordinance.
  • Obtained pretrial dismissal on a plea in bar of a Longshore Harborworkers Compensation Act claim against an employer.
  • Filed pleadings, conducted discovery, and negotiated pre-trial settlement for client in Federal Tort Claims Act case against government agency.
  • Researches, drafts, and files federal and state court pleadings and briefs for numerous railroad and business clients.
  • Regularly appears for oral argument on various pretrial and post-trial proceedings.
