Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Litigation

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced legal environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Billing and Timekeeping: Administer client billing and attorney timekeeping.
  • Case and Document Management: Organize and maintain legal documents, medical records and pathology reports and assist with the preparation of expert materials.
  • Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare drafts of legal documents under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, correspondence, and managing deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
