Lisa Murphy Named CREW Coastal Virginia's 2026 Groundbreaking Woman
Willcox Savage is pleased to announce that Lisa Murphy has been named CREW Coastal Virginia's 2026 Groundbreaking Woman.
Lisa is a member with the firm and focuses her practice on all facets of real estate development and land use, including acquisition, zoning, permitting, financing, leasing, and regulatory approvals. For more than 25 years, she has advised local, regional, and national clients on complex development projects ranging from residential and commercial communities to wireless telecommunications and energy infrastructure. Her work has helped bring projects to fruition that support economic growth, job creation, housing, and critical infrastructure across Virginia.
In addition to her legal practice, Lisa is a recognized leader in the Hampton Roads business and development community. She currently serves as Chair of the Virginia Beach Development Authority, where she plays an active role in advancing strategic economic development initiatives. She is a past President of CREW Hampton Roads and was the first female president of the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate. Through these leadership roles, she has contributed to the growth of the commercial real estate industry while helping advance opportunities for women in the field.
Lisa is also a graduate of LEAD Hampton Roads, LEAD Virginia, and the CIVIC Leadership Institute, and was recently recognized by Inside Business among the leaders helping shape the Hampton Roads economy.
