Willcox Savage recently represented the owners of AMP United, LLC in the successful sale of the company to Arlington Capital Partners as part of the formation of Highwater, a new global naval services platform serving U.S., Australian, and allied defense fleets.

Joseph B. Allen, managing partner for the firm’s Northern Virginia office, served as lead counsel on the transaction, supported by a cross-functional team of Willcox Savage attorneys who advised on corporate, transactional, employment, and due diligence matters throughout the deal process.

AMP United is a leading provider of naval preservation, structural, scaffolding, and related ship repair services supporting critical defense and government customers. Through this transaction, AMP United joins Eptec Defence, an Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company, to form Highwater, a platform focused on vessel preservation, maintenance, repair, and sustainment services for naval fleets operating around the globe.

Willcox Savage regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, business succession planning, and strategic corporate transactions.

The firm also provides counsel on a broad range of government contracting matters, including contract formation and administration, FAR and DFARS compliance, subcontractor relationships, teaming agreements, procurement issues, small business regulations, and disputes involving federal contractors and defense industry participants.

With deep roots in Hampton Roads and extensive experience serving companies operating in the maritime, ship repair, logistics, defense, and government contracting sectors, Willcox Savage is positioned to help businesses navigate both complex transactions and the regulatory environments in which they operate.

Willcox Savage congratulates the owners and management team of AMP United on this successful transaction and wishes them continued success as part of Highwater.
