Of Counsel
Dani is Of Counsel in Willcox Savage’s Labor and Employment Section. She advises business owners, executives, and Human Resources leaders on policies, agreements, training, and daily practices that foster fair, compliant, and inclusive workplaces. She regularly defends employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and parallel state agencies, and she litigates discrimination lawsuits, wage and commission disputes, trade secret claims, employment agreement matters, and other civil cases in state and federal courts. Her clients also include property owners and managers defending Fair Housing claims before the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and state or local agencies. Drawing on more than a decade of civil litigation experience, including her service to the court as a Circuit Court Staff Attorney, Dani brings rigorous legal writing, strategic advocacy, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to every matter.
Dani prepares targeted position statements and presents persuasive defenses that have led to numerous dismissals of administrative charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and related state and local agencies.
She has obtained multiple pretrial dismissals of lawsuits filed against employers across sectors by focusing courts on dispositive issues early and aligning strategy with business goals.
In a business conspiracy case, Dani secured a post-trial ruling striking a several-hundred-thousand-dollar jury verdict and then defended the victory on brief in opposition to a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Dani has earned defense verdicts in Virginia general district court trials and strategically leverages her skills in briefing and arguing pretrial motions and conducting depositions and discovery to negotiate favorable settlements in federal and state court proceedings and avoid costly trials and uncertain results.
