Associate
Emily represents institutional commercial landlords in the negotiation of retail and office leases, amendments, and assignments. As an associate in the Commercial Real Estate section, she counsels owners and managers on day-to-day leasing issues across diverse portfolios, including work for enclosed malls and outlet centers. A two-time Willcox Savage summer associate in 2021 and 2022, Emily joined the firm full time in 2023. She earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as Lead Articles Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review and received the Public Interest Law Pro Bono Award.

As a law student, Emily led the editorial team as Lead Articles Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review and received the school’s Public Interest Law Pro Bono Award, experiences that sharpened her research rigor and attention to detail—traits she brings to every lease she drafts or reviews.
