Jaime is of counsel in Willcox Savage’s Trusts & Estates and Taxation practices. She designs and implements comprehensive estate plans, assists with the administration of estates and trusts, and advises tax-exempt organizations, including public charities, private foundations, and private operating foundations. Jaime also counsels on corporate, international, partnership, and local taxation and previously served as a public finance attorney for the City of Virginia Beach. Clients turn to her for wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. Jaime provides tax advice to support family, business, and philanthropic goals.
Jaime designs and administers comprehensive, personalized estate plans. She advises trustees and personal representatives on trust and estate administration. She counsels clients regarding trust modifications and terminations, aligning fiduciary duties with practical family needs while ensuring compliance with governing instruments and applicable law.
Jaime guides nonprofit organizations, including public charities, private foundations, and private operating foundations. She prepares exemption applications and related documents and advises on continued compliance with federal tax law. She advises boards and officers on governance, self-dealing, grantmaking, and reporting obligations.
Drawing on her service as the public finance attorney for the City of Virginia Beach, Jaime advises individuals and entities on federal, state, and local taxation. Her experience spans corporate, international, and partnership tax issues.
Jaime forms business entities and coordinates succession planning for family-owned companies and private foundations.
