Lisa Murphy, Commercial Real Estate and Land Use Attorney with Willcox SavageA partner in the Real Estate Practice Group, Lisa represents local, regional, and national clients through every stage of real estate development and land use—from acquisition, zoning, and permitting to financing and leasing. Her practice includes:

  • Leading wireless site development for industry carriers and tower companies
  • Facilitating utility-scale solar and energy storage projects for renewable developers
  • Supporting developers in single- and multi-family housing, assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation facilities
  • Working with convenience retailers, gas stations, and restaurants on commercial land-use matters

When asked by Virginia Lawyers Weekly about her most memorable case, Lisa commented: ‘‘The ones that have had a positive impact on Hampton Roads, whether it be a much-needed wireless facility, or a large commercial project that adds jobs, housing, or creates opportunities for economic development.’’

Lisa also serves as Chair of the Virginia Beach Development Authority and as a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach Vision. In the past, Lisa held the position of President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Hampton Roads and the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE).
