  • Successfully defended a company in a breach of contract claim brought by a customer.
  • Successfully defended an extended stay hotel in suit brought by a guest alleging an unlawful eviction under the Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act.
  • Conducted legal research and drafted pretrial and trial memorandums on financing terms and the applicability of minority and marketability discounts when valuing a business in a suit dealing with a shareholder’s election to purchase in lieu of dissolution.
  • Counsel in a Fair Housing Act claim involving alleged disparate impact stemming from a redevelopment project. 
  • Counsel in multiple cases involving allegations of tortious interference with a non-competition agreement and statutory business conspiracy.
  • Drafted dispositive motions in defamation cases on behalf of media clients.
  • Drafted dispositive motions in ADA cases on behalf of employers.
  • Prepared and responded to discovery requests and litigated discovery disputes.
