Our State and Local Government team provides a wide variety of legal services to governmental and other public entities and agencies throughout Southeastern Virginia. Our litigation team has represented and advised our governmental clients on a wide range of topics including disputes and potential disputes relating to employment issues, construction matters, pension plans, contracts, citizen referendums, riparian rights, dedication and acceptance of public streets, regulation of traffic, tax assessment challenges, utility easements and franchises, and zoning.
