Corina San-Marina has joined Willcox Savage in its Employee Benefits practice group where she will work with partner Cher Wynkoop.

Prior to joining Willcox Savage Corina was an associate with Hershner Hunter in Eugene, Oregon, where she advised employers on the requirements of tax-qualified retirement plans under the Pension Protection Act of 2006, the Worker, Retiree and Employer Recovery Act of 2008, and provided other legislative and regulatory guidance. Corina also worked on the preparation and implementation of plan compliance amendments and advised clients on the impact of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Reconciliation Act of 2010 on their welfare plans.In addition, she worked with clients to correct operational failures of retirement plans under the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System.

Corina has a J.D. degree from the Charleston School of Law and also has an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida.
